Membership Information.

Active Members


Active Local, County, State or Federal Sworn Police or Peace Officer currently working within the boundaries of Suffolk County. Retired Sworn Police or Peace Officer from a local or county law enforcement agency within Suffolk County.

-AND-

Have served in the Armed Forces of the United States or any reserve component. Current members of the Reserve component forces to include the National Guard are eligible for membership.


Annual Membership Fee of $52.00 for members, due by April 1st of each year if not participating in payroll deductions. Dues for retired members is $26.00 per year, also due by April 1st. Please make checks or money orders payable to the SPVA.

Associate Members


For those who want to support the SPVA but do not meet the requirements for full membership, we offer associate memberships. Associate members are invited to attend designated meetings, receive the"Patriot" news letter, and take part in special events. (require board approval)

Associate Membership is $52.00 annually.
The SPVA Board and Delegates will offer a limited number of Honorary Memberships.
